Company overview
Nanosecond Pulsed-Field Ablation
Pulse Biosciences develops the nPulse platform, which delivers proprietary nanosecond pulsed-field energy to ablate targeted tissue. The technology is designed to create nonthermal cellular effects and is being evaluated in cardiac and soft-tissue applications.
Cardiac Catheter System
The nPulse Cardiac Catheter System is being developed for catheter-based treatment of atrial fibrillation. European feasibility data showed durable procedural success, and the U.S. NANOPULSE-AF pivotal IDE trial has begun enrolling patients.
Surgical Atrial Fibrillation
Pulse is also developing an nPulse surgical system for concomitant atrial-fibrillation ablation during cardiac surgery. A separate IDE pivotal trial is intended to support regulatory review in this procedural setting.
Thyroid Applications
The company is studying nanosecond PFA for benign thyroid nodules and papillary thyroid microcarcinoma. Early benign-nodule data showed durable volume reduction, while a first-in-human cancer feasibility study is underway with MD Anderson.
Future catalysts
Completion of enrollment in the NANOPULSE-AF cardiac-catheter pivotal trial anticipated in early fourth-quarter 2026.
Completion of enrollment in the papillary thyroid microcarcinoma feasibility study expected by year-end 2026.
